Texas High School Basketball - Paetow knocked off by New Caney
December 1, 2022: Katy, TX 77449 The New Caney Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Paetow Panthers to 37 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Lakes for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. New Caney will battle a Spartans team coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park ran past Jersey Village (Houston, TX), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
