Virginia High School Basketball - Covenant falls to Regents

December 1, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22902

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Regents Lions basketball team scored a good 57-49 triumph over the Covenant Eagles.

In their next game, the Lions meet the United Christian Academy Crusaders (Stanardsville, VA) in a Virginia Christian - North match, on Monday, December 5. Regents will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 58-34 non-league loss to Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA).

With the defeat, Covenant moves to 0-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Boys' Home (Covington, VA) to meet the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Friday, December 2. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Boys' Home won 40-39 in their recent non-league match against Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA)
