In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad beat the host Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), by a count of 71-63.

The Badgers (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Regents (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Regents defeated Grace Christian (Staunton, VA), 56-46, in a league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Mennonite for a VISAA Division III outing on Tuesday, December 20. Covenant will clash with a Flames squad coming off a 76-52 non-league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Flames record now stands at 5-2.
