Virginia High School Basketball - Tandem Friends tops Stuart Hall
January 6, 2023: Staunton, VA 24401 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Stuart Hall Dragons (Staunton, VA), saw Tandem Friends's basketball squad knock off Stuart Hall by a count of 52-40.
With the victory, Tandem Friends upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Badgers host Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) to play the Barons in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Barons come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Blue Ridge lost 60-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Winston-Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Dragons play the Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Stuart Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 78-70 league win over The New Community School (Richmond, VA).
