December 1, 2022: Moody, AL 35004 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) and the host Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL), saw Alexandria's basketball squad knock off Moody by a tally of 56-43.
With the victory, Alexandria improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Valley Cubs travel to Sardis (Boaz, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Sardis won 64-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Geraldine (Geraldine, AL)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Moody will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 55-53 non-league win over Winterboro (Alpine, AL).
