The Pike Central Chargers basketball team (Petersburg, IN), was overwhelmed 44-18 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN)

The Vikings now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vincennes Rivet for a Blue Chip battle on Saturday, December 3. Barr-Reeve will confront a Patriots team coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-2.

The Chargers (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN). The Wildcats come into the Pocket battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon was overwhelmed by Princeton (Princeton, IN), 64-21, in a league outing.
