December 1, 2022: Socorro, NM 87801 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) and the visiting Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM), witnessed Socorro's basketball squad nip Capitan by a margin of 33-31.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, St. Michael's was tipped by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 40-27, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Estancia for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Capitan will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 49-39 non-league loss to Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The Bears record now stands at 2-2.
