The Rivera Raiders basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies to 28 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Rivera will battle a Bloodhounds team coming off a 47-21 non-league loss to San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 3-5.

The Huskies (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Grulla was defeated by Palmview (La Joya, TX), 67-25, in a non-league contest.
