The Pymatuning Valley Lakers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Maplewood Rockets to 17 in the Lakers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lakers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding for a Northeastern contest on Monday, December 5. Pymatuning Valley will meet a Skippers team coming off a 57-31 league loss to Badger (Kinsman, OH). The Skippers record now stands at 1-1.

The Rockets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
