Texas High School Basketball - Whitehouse nips New Boston
December 1, 2022: New Boston, TX 75570 Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), 39-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Whitehouse upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Pearce (Richardson, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Pearce lost 54-45 in their recent non-league bout against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. New Boston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 34-32 non-league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).
