December 1, 2022: Newton, AL 36352 The Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Slocomb Red Tops (Slocomb, AL), 65-57 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Northside Methodist Academy went down by Ariton (Ariton, AL), 32-25, in a non-league test.
The Red Tops now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Long for a non-league test on Monday, December 5.
