The Austin Panthers basketball team (El Paso, TX), was overwhelmed 55-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX)

The Rebels now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monterey for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Midland Legacy will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 63-47 non-league loss to Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 7-7.

The Panthers (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Cleburne (Cleburne, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Cleburne was overwhelmed by Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX), 58-50, in a non-league battle.
