December 1, 2023: Beatty, NV 89003 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) and the host Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), saw Smith Valley's basketball squad wallop Beatty by a tally of 68-15.
With the victory, Smith Valley improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sparks (Sparks, NV) to confront the Railroaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Sparks lost 69-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Beatty will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 71-69 non-league loss to Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV).
