Iowa High School Basketball - Central Lyon trounces Sheldon
December 1, 2023: Sheldon, IA 51201 The Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) basketball crushed the host Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), 63-39 in Friday's league test.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen go into the Siouxland test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, MOC-Floyd Valley walloped Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA), 64-43, in a league test.
The Orabs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Lyon for a Siouxland test on Tuesday, December 5. Sheldon will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 84-57 league win over Okoboji (Milford, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
