Tennessee High School Basketball - Clay County overwhelms East Robertson
December 1, 2023: Cross Plains, TN 37049 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN) and the host East Robertson Indians (Cross Plains, TN), saw Clay County's basketball squad wallop East Robertson by a tally of 66-43.
With the victory, Clay County improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to York Institute (Jamestown, TN) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. York Institute won 57-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Warren County (McMinnville, TN)
Next up, the Indians play the Greenbrier Bobcats (Greenbrier, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. East Robertson will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN).
