In Friday's non-league match, the host Lassen Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 63-49 victory over the Portola Tigers.

With the victory, Lassen improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Quincy (Quincy, CA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Quincy lost 70-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV)
