Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) and the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad hold off Fall River by a tally of 74-68.

With the victory, Portola improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Tulelake (Tulelake, CA) to play the Honkers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Honkers come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Tulelake lost 71-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Modoc (Alturas, CA)
