The McLaurin Tigers basketball team (Florence, MS), was toppled 50-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS)

The Chiefs now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leake County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Pelahatchie will confront a Gators team coming off a 65-59 non-league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Gators record now stands at 2-5.

The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Discovery Christian (Florence, MS). The come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Discovery Christian was toppled by Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS), 46-28, in a non-league battle.
