Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the visiting Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), saw Ridge Point's basketball squad knock off Mexia by a count of 67-58.

With the victory, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Brentwood Christian won 72-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Taylor (Taylor, TX)

Next up, the Black Cats play the Trinity Leadership Tigers (Cedar Hill, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Mexia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
