Tennessee High School Basketball - Overton crushes Mitchell
December 1, 2023: Memphis, TN 38117 Overton Wolverines (Memphis, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mitchell Tigers (Memphis, TN), 58-18 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Overton upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN) to play the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Tigers play the Westwood Longhorns (Memphis, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 62-49 non-league win over Crosstown (Memphis, TN).
