Rock Valley Rockets (Rock Valley, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA), 61-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Rock Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rockets travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to clash with the Generals in a Siouxland bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost 91-38 in their recent league bout against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Sioux Center will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 84-57 league loss to West Lyon (Inwood, IA).
