The Bayside Marlins basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Tallwood Lions to 16 in the Marlins league victory on Friday.

The Marlins now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cox for a Beach contest on Tuesday, December 5.

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lakeland triumphed over Franklin (Franklin, VA), 40-38, in a non-league contest.
