North Carolina High School Basketball - The Master's Academy nips Carolina Day

December 1, 2023: Asheville, NC 28803

The Master's Academy Lions (Forest City, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC), 46-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, The Master's Academy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC) to play the Eagles in a Western Piedmont bout on Monday, December 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Pinnacle Classical Academy won 43-18 in their recent league bout against Challenger (Hickory, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mount Pisgah Academy (Candler, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Carolina Day will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 22-21 non-league loss to Bethel Christian Academy (Canton, NC).
