Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) and the host Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), saw Grant's basketball squad wallop Monroe by a count of 79-12.

With the victory, Grant upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Chavez (San Fernando, CA) to play the Eagles in a East Valley challenge on Friday, December 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Vikings play the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
