Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hampton upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN) to play the Black Knights in a 2A District 1 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Chuckey-Doak won 52-25 in their recent non-league bout against University (Johnson City, TN)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Unicoi County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
