December 1, 2023: Longview, TX 75606 The Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) basketball felled the visiting Malakoff Tigers (Malakoff, TX), 40-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lobos (10-3) will now prepare for their test against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, North Lamar thwarted Canton (Canton, TX), 32-24, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Malakoff will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.
