Arkansas High School Basketball - Watson Chapel thwarts Maumelle
December 1, 2023: Pine Bluff, AR 71603 The Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Maumelle Hornets (Maumelle, AR), 40-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Ashdown (Ashdown, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Ashdown went down by Hooks (Hooks, TX), 69-33, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Magnolia for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Maumelle will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 75-68 non-league loss to Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
