December 28, 2023: Pine Bluff, AR 71603 The Mount St. Mary Academy Belles basketball team (Little Rock, AR), was overwhelmed 67-27 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR)
The Wildcats now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mills University Studies for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Watson Chapel will confront a Comets team coming off a 30-26 non-league win over Episcopal (Little Rock, AR). The Comets record now stands at 8-4.
The Belles (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Vilonia (Vilonia, AR). The Eagles come into the 5A Central battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Vilonia was overwhelmed by Huntington (Shreveport, LA), 41-38, in a non-league battle.
