December 1, 2023: Floyd, VA 24091 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) and the visiting Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), saw Floyd County's basketball squad hold off Blacksburg by a tally of 44-40.
With the victory, Floyd County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Pulaski County won 46-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA)
