Texas High School Basketball - Kennedale winner over Burleson
December 10, 2021: Kennedale, TX 76060 The Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX) basketball felled the visiting Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), 53-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Williams Prep (Dallas, TX). The Falcons go into the 4A Region II District 10 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Williams Prep was beaten by Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (Dallas, TX), 100-6, in a league test.
The Elks now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Seguin for a 5A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, December 14. Burleson will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 48-30 non-league loss to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
