South Carolina High School Basketball - North Charleston nips Burke

December 10, 2022: Charleston, SC 29403

North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Charleston upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) in a A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 61-40 non-league win over Lake Marion (Santee, SC).
