New Mexico High School Basketball - Pecos ripped by Capital
December 10, 2022: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The Capital Jaguars basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Pecos Panthers to 33 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Michael's for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Capital will battle a Horsemen team coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 4-1.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Estancia (Estancia, NM). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Estancia overwhelmed Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 61-57, in a non-league bout.
