Texas High School Basketball - Cedar Ridge can't hold off Johnson

The Johnson Jaguars basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Cedar Ridge Raiders to 44 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Jaguars now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Churchill for a 6A Region IV District 28 contest on Friday, December 16. Johnson will battle a Chargers team coming off a 46-30 non-league win over MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 15-2.

The Raiders (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Rangers come into the 6A Region IV District 25 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Vista Ridge edged College Station (College Station, TX), 53-44, in a non-league contest.
