Smith Academy Fighting 54th (Fort Wayne, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clinton Christian Couriers (Goshen, IN), 62-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Smith Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Fighting 54th host Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Eastbrook lost 62-39 in their recent league bout against Frankton (Frankton, IN)

Next up, the Couriers clash with the Victory Christian Academy Lions (Valparaiso, IN) in a South Shore bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Clinton Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
