Ohio High School Basketball - Mississinawa Valley knocked off by Covington
December 10, 2022: Covington, OH 45318 The Covington Buccs basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks to 44 in the Buccs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Buccs now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a Three Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 13. Covington will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-1.
The Blackhawks (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH). The Indians enter the Western Ohio contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Newton Local was defeated by Tri-Village (New Madison, OH), 79-34, in a league contest.
