McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McAllen upgrades its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Los Fresnos won 62-53 in their recent non-league bout against Alexander (Laredo, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Laredo LBJ will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 45-29 non-league win over Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX).
