Texas High School Basketball - Laredo LBJ tops Mercedes
December 3, 2022: Laredo, TX 78046 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX), saw Laredo LBJ's basketball squad knock off Mercedes by a tally of 58-43.
With the victory, Laredo LBJ improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Rivera (Brownsville, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.
Next up, the Tigers play the Mission Eagles (Mission, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Mercedes will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to San Benito (San Benito, TX).
