December 10, 2022: Salem, IN 47167 The Salem Lions (Salem, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 52-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their test against New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, New Washington was tipped by Southwestern (Hanover, IN), 69-42, in a non-league test.
The Bluejackets now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Knox for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Mitchell will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 45-27 non-league loss to Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
