Texas High School Basketball - Gary can't hold off Brookeland
December 10, 2022: Gary, TX 75643 The Brookeland Wildcats basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Gary Bobcats to 33 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slocum for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Brookeland will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 47-37 non-league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-4.
The Bobcats (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Roughnecks come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, White Oak edged Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX), 59-10, in a non-league contest.
