Texas High School Basketball - Gary tops Wells
December 8, 2022: Gary, TX 75643 Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wells Pirates (Wells, TX), 52-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gary upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Brookeland (Brookeland, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Brookeland won 42-41 in their recent non-league bout against Beckville (Beckville, TX)
Next up, the Pirates play the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 36-24 non-league loss to Joaquin (Joaquin, TX).
