Texas High School Basketball - Shelbyville fells Wells
December 19, 2022: Wells, TX 75976 Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wells Pirates (Wells, TX), 44-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shelbyville upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Dragons travel to Broaddus (Broaddus, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Broaddus lost 55-35 in their recent non-league bout against Hudson (Lufkin, TX)
Next up, the Pirates play the Neches Tigers (Neches, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 66-17 league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, TX).
