Arkansas High School Basketball - Quitman nips Bigelow
December 10, 2024: Quitman, AR 72131 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) and the visiting Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR), observed Quitman's basketball team edge Bigelow by a margin of 49-43.
The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks come into the 2A Region 5 challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon-Enola edged St. Joseph (Conway, AR), 84-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR) in a 2A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, December 13. Bigelow will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
