December 10, 2024: Mineral, VA 23117 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 59-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Godwin advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA) to face the Springers in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. The Springers enter the match with a record of 2-1. Highland Springs lost 62-58 in their recent non-league match against Hermitage (Richmond, VA)
The Lions now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chancellor for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Louisa County will face a Chargers squad coming off a 70-55 non-league loss to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.
