Virginia High School Basketball - Godwin holds off Patrick Henry
December 3, 2024: Ashland, VA 23005 The Godwin Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Patrick Henry Patriots to 46 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Atlee for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Godwin will confront a Raiders team coming off a 72-47 non-league win over Caroline (Milford, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Patrick Henry falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. The Lions go into the game with a record of 0-0.
