Illinois High School Basketball - Highland Park bests Mundelein
December 10, 2024: Highland Park, IL 60035 The Highland Park Giants basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Mundelein Mustangs to 40 in the Giants non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Giants now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Maine East for a Central Suburban - North game on Friday, December 13. Highland Park will play a Blue Demons team coming off a 65-52 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Mundelein falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to play the Patriots in a North Suburban game on Saturday, December 14. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 5-2. Stevenson won 60-55 in their recent league game against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL)
