Illinois High School Basketball - Highland Park holds off Wauconda
February 15, 2025: Wauconda, IL 60084 The Highland Park Giants basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Wauconda Bulldogs to 44 in the Giants non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Giants now have a 20-8 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Highland Park will confront a Spartans team coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Clark (Chicago, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 14-14.
With the loss, Wauconda falls to 9-20 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Chicago (North Chicago, IL) to confront the Warhawks in a Northern Lake County game on Tuesday, February 18. The Warhawks go into the game with a record of 10-20. North Chicago won 61-36 in their recent league game against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)
