December 10, 2024: Decatur, IL 62522 In Tuesday's league test, the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), by a final score of 65-51.
Next, the Generals clash with the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight test, on Friday, December 13. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cyclones come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 49-47 league win over Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL).
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Senators come into the Central State Eight test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Springfield went down by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 67-47, in a league test.
