December 10, 2024: Nashwauk, MN 55769 North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN), 73-62 in a league match.
With the victory, North Woods upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The grizzlies travel to Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 0-1. Moose Lake/Willow River lost 81-54 in their recent non-league match against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN)
The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floodwood for a A Section 7 match on Monday, December 16. Nashwauk-Keewatin will face a Polar Bears squad coming off a 110-36 non-league loss to Ely (Ely, MN). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-4.
