Washington High School Basketball - Sumner knocks off South Kitsap
December 10, 2024: Sumner, WA 98390 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) and the visiting South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA), observed Sumner's basketball team overcome South Kitsap by a score of 64-46.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Curtis (University Place, WA). The Vikings come into the 4A South Puget Sound - North challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Curtis dropped by Rogers (Puyallup, WA), 68-65, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. South Kitsap will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 70-44 non-league loss to Puyallup (Puyallup, WA).
