Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA), 53-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Brunswick advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Pirates host Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC) to face the Seahawks in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Seahawks enter the match with a record of 2-1. Hilton Head Island won 48-39 in their recent non-league match against Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC)

The Rebels now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glynn Academy for a AAAAA Region 1 match on Friday, December 13. Effingham County will face a Terrors squad coming off a 33-23 non-league loss to Camden County (Kingsland, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 4-4.
